Accessibility Statement

INFORM aims to make this website accessible to the widest possible audience.

Conformance target

The INFORM website is designed against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, level AA. An independent accessibility audit has not yet been completed; this statement will be updated when the audit is finalised.

Implemented measures

Semantic HTML landmarks (header, main, footer) and skip link to main content.
Keyboard-accessible navigation with visible focus styles.
Colour contrast designed to meet WCAG 2.2 AA targets (verification pending audit).
Forms with explicit labels, validation messaging and CSRF protection.
Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting; videos and animations are not auto-played with sound.
Demonstration interfaces include text labelling so colour is not the only indicator.

Known limitations

Some legacy media files do not yet have transcripts. Transcripts will be added.
The PULSE concept interface is information-dense; a simplified text view will be added.
